Often I wore Spandex running tights, but eventually I more-or-less settled on gray nylon Capezio dance tights because I liked the flat finish of the Capezio dance tights better than the shiny finish of the Spandex running tights. I wore the tights with tall, well-polished riding boots and a leather jacket, and often a wide-brimmed, low-crowned "riverboat gambler"-style hat. Sometimes I even got asked if I was a "rider"--that, is, worn in conjunction with the boots, the tights were mistaken for riding breeches.I admit that in those days I was desperate for attention--and, boy, did those tights work!
