BUT if this is what you want for class, then I suggest the complete opposite of a "strict" ballet teacher. If they are "strict", then they will NOT allow any liberties when it comes to proper classroom attire. Girls have to wear the leos and white tights...boys must wear tshirts and shorts...sometimes tights are allowed. NOW, if dressing and learning ballet as a ballerina is what you want, find a teacher who is NOT strict, and won't mind you doing this.
