Lets hope we can give enough interest. Becca x>>This is a serious and genuine message. I have had discussions with a qualified, experienced ballet teacher about her teaching lessons where you will be able to wear whatever dancewear you like. This will be in the London area (venue to be confirmed).>>What I'd like to find out is how much interest there is from this community. The teacher obviously isn't going to do it for free (it's her job after all), so tehe wil be fees etc. >>Please post a replay to this message on this board, so we can determinee if it's worth pursuing.>>There are some things to consider. This is going to be a proper, structured ballet class - once or twice a week. We will progress through the levels and we hope to be able to get examined and certificated by the relevant autorities (RAD or ISTD), so there will need to be a good deal of commitment from the participants. It isn't intended as a means of getting a cheap thrill - if you seriously want to do ballet and wear your favourite dancewear this is for you.>>Once we see what the interest is, we'll advise further.>>Once again this a serious and genuine offer - please respect it as such. We've been crying out for a class like this and it could become a reality.>>Thanks>>Nicci. >To furthar a serious attitude in the proposed male ballet class perhaps flogging and even execution should be considered for those who breech the strict ballet dress code.
