I have always wanted to dance but grew up in a family where money was tight. I am now able to do this on my own. I am 26 and interested in starting ballet. I have come across<br>much the same attitude. I realy question the idea of not being able to progress to pointe! I will tell you that I have noticed a huge difference in attitudes between Arizona and California and the East coast. Arizona is just realy bad as far as adult programs. Sitting on your couch eating chips is looked on more favorably than dancing! I think If you progress well you should be able to take on any challange you choose. Try Conservatory Ballet in Glendale. They have adult classes. You may have to pay for private lessons somewhere to get what your looking for. If you find it let me know!!![/i]
