My technique in ballet is similar to a 15-16 year old , but I have a lot of potential, at least for modern dance. I have very good rhythm, musicality and flexibility. I practice at home very often. I want to dance in a more 'professional' way- not take it as a hobby- is there a chance for me? I come from a very small country where most of the people don’t appreciate much dance and ballet. Maybe it will help to go to another country-it's in my plans anyway.I like modern dance (never took classes, though), Latin, flamenco. Can I combine these with ballet training? Could you please give me any advice, information, guidance ?I’m so worried that I won’t be able to do one of the few things that I love so much in my life. I feel like nobody wants to give me a chance and it’s so unfair because I’m a good dancer- even if I stopped my ballet training for 7 years. I feel very sad, depressed, dissappointed about dance and especially ballet. I can't seem to find the strength to keep trying my best to become a better dancer. Please give me some encouragement.
