[i]>Later this year I'll be producing a documentary about adult dancers. This project will follow a group of older dancers, aged 30 and older, as they prepare for and participate in the final, August session of the Adult Dance Camps in Richmond, Virginia. Dates of the camp are August 21 - 27, 2005. >I'm looking for adult dancers who either came to dance late in life or continue to dancer at an advanced age. All technique levels, beginning through advanced are welcome to apply. I'm looking for both men and women with interesting stories about how dance has impacted their lives or how they came to dance for the project. Dancers interested in particpating should visit my website below for additional information about the project. >Dancers will be asked to submit a brief survey (available on the website). These surveys will be used to determine which dancers we will follow through the project. A final decision about which dancers we'll follow will be made in late May. A small crew will travel to visit the selected dancers in their hometowns to experience their daily lives, and to film them taking class in their local dance studio. Additional camera crews will follow these dancers as they take part in the week-long Adult Dance Camp session in August. >The goal of this project is a completed, feature film length documentary. This project will be entered into independent film festivals beginning early in 2006. >Selected dancers will be asked to take part in the Adult Dance Camps session from August 21 - 27, 2005.
