We all want a teacher who is constantly insisting on good technique, not just someone who says: "do this, do that". The best thing to do in my opinion is to take a few private lessons where the teacher can teach you some "secrets". I also recommend that you go to the bookstore and purchase some good books on ballet technique, read and practice.
