[i]If I were you and I wanted to dance, I would take every class that I could that the teacher was willing to let me take. Don't worry about the children - just go and learn. Lots of luck. Basheva >I live somewhere in Asia where there are not very many ballet schools, and in my city there are 3 or 4 schools teaching adult ballet, but they're all advertised as mainly for enjoyment purpose only. I wanted more than that, I want to learn and maybe not for a career but to learn enough to perform someday in a recital or a church christmas event or something. I'm an adult and had some ballet lessons when i was 6 - 9 years old and was quite good at it, but at my own stupidity i stopped after some friends told me that i would have bleeding and ugly feet. I regret that but now i want to try again. (I am in late twenties now), so anyway: there's one school that offered me an afternoon class with beginner children if i was willing to take it, because they normally offered adult classes in morning and i cant coz i'm working. Would it be better for me to take the classes with small children? Would the teacher be ina a more discerning mode rather than in an adult class? Any sugestions please. Thanks [/i]
