Ballet will help you get the muscles moving to work out the trigger points. Dr. Travell encouraged me to take ballet.
Don't worry about wearing tights in classes. It's the "standard" and nobody will think it's odd. Wearing tights is functional, allowing the body to move freely, and it's practical, allowing your teacher to see how your muscles are working. You should wear a dancebelt under your tights, for the support you'll need. The dancebelt keeps the genitals up out of the crotch so that they won't get injured.
I know some guys are shy about showing their "package" in tights, but everybody's human. We all know what's there. We should be proud of our bodies!
However, I do know guys who wear loose work-out shorts over the tights so that the "package" won't be that obvious. Whatever makes you comfortable.

>I just wrote about my illness and had one more question regarding taking ballet. I have been wearing tights aroung the house and under my pants for awhile now because it helps with the pain in my legs by increasing the blood flow back up and my family is very used to seeing me in them. What I would like to know is what it may be like for me to be seen in them for my first class. Does it feel weird? I think it might. Any thoughts to get passed this? I know this is probably a strange question but hey, you don't know until you ask right? Thanks again.[/i]
