But this callsfor repetition & greater emphasis. Don't hesitate to shop around!People get hooked on certain teachers, & even if they aren't givingthem what they need, they hesitate to change. I had a couple ofteachers--I won't name them--who were not above the occasional put-down in class. (Actually, one of them was in the habit of talkingto us as if we weren't really trying when in fact we were allknocking ourselves out. I don't think he really likes students,except possibly professionals.) What happened was that the placeclosed for a holiday week one year, so I tried a new place. Andnever looked back, the teachers at the new place--one in particu-lar--we so good, so clear, so helpful, so supportive. SHOP AROUND! --even if you're satisfied. At the very least, itwill give you a renewed appreciation for the teachers you have, &you may well discover someone better suited to your needs. Tom
