I'm torn. On the one hand, I'd like to say, Just jump right in!Nobody's going to laugh at you, because they're all been there,too.  And the girls are always so pretty. But on the other, I knowthat moral support would be a great help. If you're stymied andreduced to standing there like a dummy while everyone else sweepsacross the studio, it can be mighty frustrating, but if *two* ofyou go through that experience, mutual support can keep you goingwhile a solitary beginner might be terminally discouraged.

So I guess I'm going to wish you luck in finding a friend to goalong, but I also urge you to go in any case, and to give yourself,oh, roughly three months, before you give up.  It's a mightydifficult & demanding art, but infinitely rewarding once you getpast that initial hump.  And the girls are always so pretty....
