I have always had a strong desire to dance ballet but have never acted on it. Please give me some good realistic suggestions. I am also wondering what I am going to need to get started, clothing wise. I agree with Scott D and John very strongly.I too deeply regret notstarting ballet sooner and am very glad I took that first step whenI first started. I'm 38 now and still dancing.And I agree also about it being a great place forstraight guys.Very often I'm the only guy in class surrounded bycute girls.I am in heaven!Good luck! As far as clothing: footed tights(I have many different colors) black or grey tights are pretty safe,ballet shoes and a t-shirt.if you need any help or advise,email meI'll be glad to help.
