I am also 14 and i also did ballet when i was 5, but quit because i thought it was too hard. When i was 12 i really wanted to start it up again but my mom told me that i wasn't flexible enough. I was ready to do anything to be a ballerina, so for the next year i streatched everyday for 1 to 2 hours. By age 13 i was very flexible and i signed up for ballet. I have been in it for 1 year now and i am already as good or better than all the other people in my danse class. I am sad i didn't continue ballet when i was 5 because who knows how good i would have become, but than again i might not have appreciated ballet as much as i do now.
