I loved your letter and felt like writing an encouraging response.  I am very much impressed by the progress you made and I truly believe that you should go forward because, as my experience shows, the most difficult thing is to re-start ballet after such a break that you had.  

I personnally started classes when I was 6 and quit at 13 because of back trauma.  I have re-started doing ballet three months ago and it is such an utmost joy to do again something you passionately love and enjoy.  

As for the ballet schools in Canada, I will try to talk to a friend of mine in Montreal and let you know.  I am sorry I can't help you to define the differences in examination procedures since I am only acquainted with the Russian system.
