>>I attend an adult beginner ballet class.Although I am the only male in the class I have worn a pair of black ballet tights to class from the start.I considered it both respectful to the ballet teacher that I was appropriately dressed for class aswell as showing that I respect the dress code for ballet.Unfortunately most of the women in the ballet class don't seem to respect the dress code. Most wear short leggings and crop tops..with hardly any wearing tights or a leotard.I am one of the few wearing tights.Come on girls get into a nice pair of white or pink ballet tights and a regulation leotard for class!>AMEN TO THAT!!! What is wrong with the world today when women in a ballet don't like to wear tights and leotards???? Is there some sort of evil "Anti-Tights" conspiracy going on????> In my ballet class the dress code is very strict and enforced rigidly.I have to wear pink ballet tights under a black regulation leotard. My hair must be tied with a pink ribbon in a particular way.Boys must wear black ballet tights with feet over a white leotard. If any of us fails to adhere to the ballet school dress code we are asked to leave.
