No, she is absolutely NOT ready for pointe.  It's likely the other students aren't either.  It takes 3-4 years of SERIOUS ballet training --- like at least 4-5 times per week --- to prepare for pointe work.

For your stepdaughter's safety, I suggest she NEVER studies en pointe with that teacher.  Find a ballet school that will teach her right.
