Joining younger classes?

Hi, I'm 18 and I've been going to an open-age dance school for a few weeks. Before that I took a course in "Funky Ballet" (ballet interspersed with hip-hop - very cool!).

However, soon I will be back at university in another city. I haven't been able to find any adult beginner ballet classes in my uni's city - would it be possible to join a younger beginner's class? Have any of you done this? Has anyone got any other suggestions?
