written by Meghan DeVore              on 20.06. at 00:31:11I have been doing ballet for 3-4 years. But I stopped ballet at about 5 or 6. I began ballet again a year ago. Now I am done with that recital, and I am going to take pre pointe in the fall.I read a lot of stuff, and it says you shouldnt take pointe unless you have serious training of 3-4 classes each year of ballet. I am almost 13, but I only take 1 class of ballet. EVERYONE in my class has taken ballet longer than I have, and not to be mean, but I am the best one in my class. does that mean I am not ready for pointe? Answers to this message:
