I've NEVER done any ballet in my life, but I have done modern dance on and off since I was 10, i've been part of a dance group and done physical theatre. I also go to the gym 3-4 times a week, and am pretty flexible. So i'm a fit person. Am I too old to be really good at ballet though? (i.e do it professionally??) any answers welcome, Thanks!>You are probably too old for a professional career in ballet but why not enrol in an adult beginner ballet class just for the pleasure of learning ballet.Be warned when I started adult beginner's ballet I thought I was very fit but ballet uses muscles you've rarely used before and is physically very demanding. For me though the first time I pulled on my black ballet tights and put on my ballet shoes was simply great!
