when you are more confident - see if your teacher will allow you to go en pointe.As a male dancer it is a challenge and like you I started only 10 months ago.Last week I joined the beginners classfor pointe work and have I got respect for those who can ! Despitethe pain I lasted 30 minutes.Give it a go.If you need to buy shoesgo to Dancia in Covent Garden.Any other males doing pointe work let me know how you are doing.
