I was one of the few that came prepared for class. Others were in jeans, swetas, guys in socker shorts etc. Well before I even entered I changed into a pair of tight Nike workout shorts (black ballet slippers) that I brought just in case... The class attire is not inforced I guess, but I think you should look a little more serious...but I am sure none of the jock guys would dare to wear tights>> anyway...looking forward to semester of great body tuning etc>>I've had the same experience not only do males not wear tights but females don't wear proper ballet attire. In my adult begineer ballet class only 2 of the 7 women wear ballet tights and a leotard,I wear black tights and a tee shirt but feel a bit odd. Make sure you select a strict ballet school. Most of them have a strict tights- leotard policy, even for adult. although tights don't have to be pink anymore. In such a class you won't stand out wearing tights! Answers to this message: |
