>>>Thanks>>>>>>>>>Two excellent schools are Boston Ballet located on Claredon Street in the South End.  And the Ballet Theater of Boston.  Both are great schools.>Theres also JOSE MATEOS Theater/School in CAMBRIDGE on the red line-it might have ONCE been Ballet Theater of Boston.>DH

I am personally familiar with the following:

Boston Ballet19 Clarendon StreetBoston, MA  02116-6107617-456-6264http://www.boston.com/bostonballet

Jose Mateo's Ballet Theatre400 Harvard Street (Harvard Square)Cambridge, MA  02138617-354-7467

The Dance Complex536 Mass. AveCambridge, MA  02139617-547-9363

Green Street Studios185 Green StreetCambridge, MA  02139617-864-3191

Boston Dance Company550 Mass. Ave, 3rd FloorCambridge, MA  02139617-491-8615bstndnc@aol.com

That's all I have direct experience with, but there are lots of smaller studios and schools in the Boston area.  Not to mention the colleges and universities, such as Boston University (since you attend BU, I assume you've checked this out?), Emerson College and the Boston Conservatory.
