It is not at all too late for you to take ballet classes.  And, it is not at all too late for you to have a professional career.  I started later than you and danced for 30 years professionally and taught for 25 yrs.  It is not easy - but I loved it - and chose to do it.  You have to work  hard but the dream can happen.
