Someone on the ballet<br>newsgroup recommended a machinists' soap called Go-Jo. I found it<br>at a local auto parts store. (Unfortunately, they didn't ask me<br>what I wanted it for. They must have assumed I wanted it for greasy<br>hands. It would have been fun to tell them I needed it to wash my<br>ballet shoes.) It did the job, but then I started taking class in a<br>studio where, for some reason, the shoes didn't get as dirty.
