I can sympathize. When I first took classes back in my thirties,nobody told me about that, & for a year & a half I did the same asyou. That was back in the days when all you got was a flat triangleof cloth in front & a flat triangle of cloth in the back, & youwere in danger of putting the d@mned thing on backward.
It was years before I learned how one adjusted things. I think Ifinally found out somewhere on the Net. As for the manufacturers,I suppose they would think it indecent to provide instructions.
