I've never done it, either, but I can tell you what someone at M.Stevens once told me. She said they used Rit dye. (They chose thatbrand because it seemed to have the fewest potentially harmfulingredients.) Apparently they just used it the way one always usessuch dyes. Their milliskin fabric seems to be pretty much the sameas what you have.
I almost dyed a pair of tights once. I wanted to tie-dye them, buthesitated, partly because I had never done such a thing & partlybecause I was afraid some bright sunburst of color might end up inan embarrassing place. (grin) Finally the fashion for tie-dyeingpassed, & the tights are still on the hanger, untouched.
