You know I completely agree with your assessment and appreciate we have you to discuss this matter in a thorough manner.
But I have one thing to humbly add to your advice, the advice needed for wearing a thong buttstrap.
The thong is something that guys have to get used to. It doesn't have to be that bad, and can be "appreciated" in time.
The first thing I think guys should know about the dancebelt thong buttstrap is that it doesn't need to be so tight. The more you pull up the back of the dancebelt, the tighter it gets. It's OK to push down the back of the dancebelt as you first get used to the thong. As the dancer gets used to the thong, it can be pulled up tighter.
An then there's the problem of irritation. Despite how tight or loose, the thong may cause irritation to the skin. This usually goes away with time, but dancers should be aware that if they get irritation, it can be prevented. I have used body powder (I prefer Gold Bond powder), applied in a small amount. This "dries" the skin and also allows the buttstrap to move slightly.
And then there's the problem of "lesions." I saw you used the word "hemorrhoids," which sounds terrifying, especially if you have a thong dancebelt. I prefer the term lesion. There is no ban that would keep the dancer from using a lesion cream, like Preparation H, just before the dancebelt is placed. I don't believe a small amount of the cream placed in the proper position would show through, though I have no experience.
The other questions I see about dancebelts are, in my humble opinion, not for public discussion, although I talk about them one-on-one. The talk about "padding" is one of those. I've seen guys use different types of padding methods, and had to wonder about the motive, until I developed an embarrasing prostate problem and started to leak. The problem cleared up with anitbiotics. But then I took another look at padding, but still believe it's a private matter.
You know I love Dr. Dancebelt and appreciate his every word. I only humbly bring up these additional topics for the sake of completion.
