>Hey, balletboy,>Interesting. I was thinking of asking what are your favorite type of breeches--and here's your comment?
I love my German made leather seated britches. The seem the best. I have a pair of American made britches where the leather starts on the calves and extends up the inside leg, all the way to the crotch, and like these for their fit.
>But "boots are boots"? Oh, say it ain't so, balletboy! It may be a bit OT on this board, but what is more masculine than a pair of tall, shiny riding boots worn with a pair of form-fitting riding breeches (leather patches on the inside of the knees, of course)?>Breeches Lover
But of course I agree! I have about four pairs of English leather boots that I love, and I think three pairs of rubber boots that look great with britches. But the ones I love best are the Argentine leather polo boots, that zip up the front. Unlike the English leather and rubber boots which are black, the Argentine leather is a brown leather, and somehow looks much sexier than the black.
And because of the size of my calves, the Argentine fit better, not so tight as the English leather and rubber boots.
So what more can I say? Britches and boots are really a masculine statement.
