You need just a needle and black thread, maybe a thimble, and 1/2 hour of time (or less). Many people at your ballet school will show you how to align the elastic correctly, and how to sew it on without hampering the drawstring.<p>You should also tie the drawstring in a bow and tuck the bow into your shoes. Again, ask about it.
