Regarding the maleskin.com stuff....I bought several hundred dollars worth of their stuff, but didn't like the feel and fit. Their "dancebelt" wasn't very supportive (I prefer my "pouches" to be real tight, and, in fact, don't like the dancebelts that have "built-in pouches."). I gave the stuff to one of my ballet-boyfriends, and he wasn't enthusiastic, but wears the stuff. My opinion is that renaissancedancewear.com makes better garments.
I have had several leather dancebelts made to my specification (Most with elastic joiners or inserts for flexibility.), and found these were the best for me. Get in touch with a local leather shop, and see what they can do for you!
