There are considerations as to the "anatomy lesson" versus the "rounded" look. Then there are concerns about to you want enough of the look to be "comfortable" or look "awesome?" Then there are concerns about false adveritzing!!! Codpieces were worn by males!
The false advertizing aspects are somewhat verboten among serious male danseurs, but not that some of us don't do (sorry, "discuss") that occassionally!

OK! I'm not suggesting you are not serious about dance because you want to look awesome...the two can comfortably exist. There are these neo-Fraudian (OH! A Freudian slip! "neo-Fraudian"!) psychologists that say, essentially, that dance is the ultimate "exposure" of the body.
