Dancebelts can show under unitards. Often the problem, for me, is that the dancebelt will fold down at the waist, doubling the material. I've worked with many dancebelts, but the overlying material often pulls the underlying elastic down. The wrap belt around the waist can stop the dancebelt from folding down, but it does break the line of the unitard.
I have not found the perfect dancebelt for any occassion, including under a unitard. When I wear the Capezio comfort dancebelt I have to pull the overlying cotton lycra so that it doesn't pull down and double the elastic, but by the middle of centre, it doesn't work that well.
I think you've discovered the universal problem with dancebelts....they rarely do what they're supposed to! And trust me, I've investigated all dancebelts that are available.

>Unitards are better than just leotard+tights because usually men's tights doesn't fit well. Also, wearing as one piece helps stretching. However, my problem is that the dancebelt is noticeble under unitard.[/i]
