(a) Yes, tights are sexy to wear, at least at first, although in my own case the excitement waned early on. (b) Tights-clad girls are terrific; all that skin-tight clothing meant to leave as little as possible to the imagination...class sometimes seems to be like going to the beach without having to worry about getting skin cancer from the UV radiation. :-) (c) There's an element of...well, ritual, for lack of a better word. Humans tend to associate special activities with special clothing (academic garb for commencement, judges' robes, military uniforms, ecclesiatical vestments, etc.) & to me tights are part of the ritual of ballet.Yes, I'd still take class if there were no tights.
