Not until this year (about a weak ago) did they make a very advanced class for just about 9 of us. Anyway, with that comes another contract we have to sign and on the contract it says I have to wear" a white form fitting t shirt, black bike shorts or form-fitting jazz pants, plus other things. I have always worn a white t-shirt and black sweat pants which I am fine with. The problems I have is that I don't like tight clothing, because I don't like being confined (in any way), and the clothes are showing off stuff I'd rahter not show. With the form fitting t-shirt, it's like an unwritten rule that you shouldn't wear them unless you have like muscles to show off which I definately don't. I'm almost as skinny as you can get. Next, with the biker shorts. I don't even wanna go there because those are realllly small. And then with the form-fitting jazz pants, those are just tight and I don't care to wear them. My dilemma is that I want to continue dancing in this class, but I don't like the attire. What should I do?>PS. Like I said, I am only 15 (only guy in the dance school) and I am friends with all the girls that are around my grade level that dance there. With the tight clothing it's like, "Hey! Look at my crotch!" Well, you are 15, so i think your classmates probably know what makes you a boy by now...that's called maturity. When it comes for tights vs. sweats, tights work better in the long run, since they stretch further. I don't think they are that uncomfortable. If you want to get used to them, just wear them around the house a lot (even under your sweats!). Fears over your clothes shouldn't make you give up ballet....it's not like they are making you dance naked! Remember, the tights that guys wear aren't the sheer kind that you see on girls. Our tights are opaque, and you can't see through them. Antworten zu diesem Beitrag: |
