Re: M. Stevens Tights

Typically, they do "migrate" down. Possible solutions are sewing in elastic, folding the waistband over a strip of ridgid cloth (a canvas "boy scout" belt works well) and rolling down & pulling up several times (you'll still have to adjust the tights every hour or two this way, but it still works well), and, of course, suspenders or sewn-in stay up straps. If you wear them for performance you'll notice that they stay put longer with shaved legs.

Dance on!

>i just bought a pair of M. stevens footless tights. first off, let me say THANK YOU to everyone on the board who boasted about them... they are incredibly comfortable.  only one problem... when dancing, the waist tends to migrate down so that they aren't sitting really tight to my crotch area.  is this normal, or do you have to sew an elastic to the top to keep them up and taut?  also, is there supposed to be a lot of material above the waist... i folded it over because it was too big.>thanks
