Re: Men's Tights

When buying tights, be sure to buy real MENS tights, not anything branded "unisex".  Real men's tights are thicker and more opaque then women's, since we don't usually cover the crotch with a leotard.

Personally, I detest Capezio tights because their material blend is harsh on the skin and definitely NOT opaque when you bend over.

Baltogs, Sansha, and Mstevens all have fans in the dance community.  If you choose Baltogs, be aware they are sized smaller than the other brands.  You would be well advised to buy one pair only until you can determine which brand and size is best for you.

>Hi Everyone,>I stumbled upon this forum and it's a saving! I'm impressed with Dr. Dancebelt's expertise and I'm definitely gonna try his advice for class 2day! :) I'm a 26 years old dancer from Israel, starting at a late age I'm not a pro, But I have been dancing Ballet for several years now and about to go on stage at the end of this year. My question is where I can find tights for men who are OPAQUE and not transparent? they are nowhere 2 be found in Israel! I understand the Capezio brand for Men is like that? and where can I get a good shop that does shipments in the UK? (I got a dancer friend there who can send me the tights via snail mail). 10x a lot guys!
