I started wearing grey tights for the same reason myself: I (and the teacher) can see much better if the placement of hips is propper in various moves. However, checking it at home I realized that *the best* way is to wear black leotard *over* grey tights. In such a way hips are very distinguishable even from a larger distance from the mirror.Unfortunatelly, leotard over tigts seems to be very unpopular.
