>Hey guys,>Well, I've been following Dr. Dancebelts instructions for sometime now, but the otherday I had Ballet class, and yesterday I got serious balls ache all day (especailly the right one, If you're into graphic details... :). I was using Capezzio 26 and Capezzio #10 Tights as was recomended by the kind gentlemen in this forum... suggestions anyone? you think I should go see an urogolist?>I must comment that I have been dancing with regular underwear for almost 2 years before stumbling this forum and start using dancebelts on regular basis.>10x._________________________________________________________________________

Dance belts are supposed to hold and protect, not hurt.  Your day-long testicle pain is NOT normal and you don't want to repeat the experience.  I'm sure you can tell the difference between the "I'm really tired of having a thong jammed up my ass, and I can hardly wait to let my balls swing in the breeze" feeling you get after wearing a dance belt for too many hours, and the "something's wrong down there" worry that you've actually hurt yourself.

To get to the bottom of this problem, let me ask some clarifying questions:-your age, height, weight, waist size.-size dance belt and tights you wear.-do you have any different models or sizes of dance belts other than the Capezio 26?-how many years ballet have you taken?  how many days a week do you take class?-how many hours did you wear your dance clothes on the day of the problem?  Was that longer than you normally wear them?-how long ago did you start wearing a dance belt?  -how would you describe its comfort and fit prior to the problem?-did you have any problem with a testicle getting pinched outside the pouch?-did the dance belt have to contain an erection for any significant time on the problem day?-did you notice any similar pain prior to the problem day?-did you do anything else athletic the day of the incident, like riding your bike?-did the pain happen while you were still wearing your dance belt, or after you took it off?  If after, was it immediately or how long after did it take for the pain to develop? -have you had any reoccurance of the pain?  If so, did it occur spontaneously or after wearing a dance belt?-have you ever experienced similar pain in the past?-how severe was the pain on a 1 to 5 scale? (5 means almost passing out, 1 is a noticeable annoyance)

Before going too far with a diagnosis, I'd like to wait for my questions to be answered, but consider the following (and respond if any comment rings true):

Capezio's model 26 has a front so flat that it's almost a mistake to call it a pouch.  If you don't take care to pull your testicles up, they can easily get trapped too low, squeezing them together and perhaps even forcing them up inside your abdominal cavity.

Sexual arousal for an extended time without sexual release can lead to a condition commonly known as "blue balls" characterized by a dull throbbing pain.  The solution is obvious.

Dance belts are very effective at preventing testicular torsion, and the symptoms you've described don't match that condition at all.  Testicular torsion is extremely serious because it can lead to cutting off the blood supply to a testicle.  It requires immediate medical intervention.

If your testicular pain reoccurs without any obvious cause/effect relationship, get yourself to a doctor immediately.  If you suspect your dance belt is too tight, try another model with a more defined pouch, more elastic, or a bigger size.  Let's work to get you back into class and pain free
