I want to order the quilted Capezio dance belt (5930).  My waist (measured across the hips) is 34”, which puts me exactly between sizes, according to Capezio’s size table. (L=32-34” and XL=34-36”)  An Internet vendor has advised me that the belt has very little stretch to it and that I should rather go for XL.  Is this indeed the case, or should I get size L?

I am new to ballet.  I have only 4 classes under my belt (pun intended!) as an adult beginner (age 30).  I live in South Africa and the postage together with the exchange rate kind of forces to make doubly sure that I order the correct size.
