Male dancewear
geschrieben von Not so hesitant and way more comfortable at am 03.01. um 02:02:32 - als Antwort auf: How to clean a dancebelt? von Ike at I was advised by the salesclerk to hand wash my dancebelt in warm water and not machine wash. And certainly not to put into the dryer because the cotton might shrink and dancebelts are snug enough already. I don't think you need to soak it for hours. Use mild detergent and work the belt gently through the warm water and then rinse with cool water. To speed up the drying process, open up a hand towel and place the dancebelt near the top end. Then roll the towel up so that the dancebelt is gradually rolled up in the towel. You can press the towel roll on a flat surface and the extra moisture from the belt is absorbed by the towel. Unroll the towel and you'll have a wet towel and fairly dry dancebelt. Hang it to dry and should be dry to wear the next morning. Any other suggestions? >Dancebelts don't hold up well in my washing machine, so I hand-wash mine. I put them in the bathtub with a dance of detergent and soak them for a couple of hours in warm water. To rinse them, I run warm water over them and let soak in cold water a while, then gently wring excess water out of each before putting them on a rack to air dry. The quilted belts take an awful long time to dry this way. (In the summer I will take them out onto my deck, and let them dry in the sun.)>Does anyone have tips for improving the process? Many thanks. Antworten zu diesem Beitrag: |
