Male dancewear
geschrieben von balletboy am 09.08. um 02:48:38 - als Antwort auf: Re: Dancewear von Jimmy at I wore tights with a t-shirt for many years, and only occassionally wore a unitard. The tights with a sort of baggy t-shirt hid what I thought was my not-so-trim middle. I had this obsessive belief that those love-handles really existed and looked freaky on a dancer. I'm surprised I didn't become anorexic! I like the unitard now, exclusively, with legwarmers. But I often slip off the leg warmers after barre. But I always wear over-the-calf white socks with white ballet slippers...the better to see the foot as it works. The leg warmers or the white socks draw the attention to the lower leg and foot as it works. That's my preference. Hey Jimmy...I know it's tough to find a unitard that fits. Trust me, I have tried getting them custom made and I've bought every rack model I could find...but I found one for me! It was an expensive search. I can't recommend a brand because it works for me, but it might not work for you. I hope you find the fit that suits you. balletboy PS: I like wearing an elastic belt of contrasting color to set off my waist. It may break the smooth line of the unitard, but it's another preference I have. When I tried wearing unitards previously, I also wore dance trunks over them, usually with a thong bottom, of a contrasting color. I saw the look in a Dance France catalogue, and thought it was "cool." There are many ways to accessorize a unitard. I suggest guys who like unitards experiment with different looks. Variety is the spice of life. PPS: I also advise that my advice on the NoUniButt look works well with most unitards. Antworten zu diesem Beitrag: |
