I still wear this a lot, although it's not really the season for it. The fabric that is made of is called Tencel. Tencel is being promoted as environmentally friendly, which is not something that you ordinarily associate with as a big concern in dance. Anyhow, Tencel is made from wood. Whatever its origins, though the fabric is thick it is extremely comfortable and it wears very well, compared to nylon or cotton/lycra or Milliskin.
