It's also worthy to note that roughly from the 11th to the mid 18th century tights were made almost exclusively for men. Men were to show off their handsome legs, and women were to cover theirs---thus we had table cloths, to cover the "female" table legs. As far as ballet goes, as a dance form, it was derived from fencing movements. Anything rooted in combat doesn't sound so "femmy" to me... Antworten zu diesem Beitrag: |
