Hi Sith-Lord!

Welcome!

You'll find many serious guys here to answer your questions, but there are some freaks!

The problem with keeping tights up is universal.  Fotted tights often are too short in the legs, and hence pull them down.  Before we get to belts and braces, consider footed tights.

All nylon tights will bag at the knees, so consider nylon/lycra or cotton lycra.  These will fit better at the knees.  Nylon tights have to be washed after every use, whereas the blend materials will keep their shap through two or three waerings.

Consider footless tights.  I always were footless tights with thin white nylon over-the-calf socks and white ballet slippers.  The white socks and slippers are kind of a classic ballet class look.  They allow the foot to be seen better.  The footless tights allow you to pull up the tights close enough into the crotch so they don't pull down.

Now to belts and braces!  Some guys advocate braces or suspenders to hold up the tights.  You can buy cheap suspenders at K-mart the will clamp onto the waist band of the tights.  My personal preference advoid suspenders, because they can cut into the shoulders.

As for belts, I advocate the infinitely adjustable elastic belts that baseball players wear in their pants.  You can find them at any sporting goods store.

What I do is pull my tights up as high as possible, then put the belt on about an inch or two below the top of the waist band.  I then turn the blet around so that the buckle is at the middle of the back.  Then I fold the tights down over the belt and tuck it up under the bottom of the belt.  Then I fold the belt down once.  This will keep your tights well in place throughout the class, providing the belt is sufficiently adjusted to be just tight enough on the waist.  If it slipps down, you'll need to adjust the belt to be tighter.

These elastic belts flex, so you have some give-and-take that you just don't find from canvas belts. And the elastic in these baseball pants belts is stiff enough not to compress down.  Also, the belt allows the seat to be pulled up to avoid the UniButt look.
