Male dancewear

And as it stands, I'm the ONLY one who doesn't have a pair of leg warmers. (There are 14 gals and 6 guys in my class, including me.) What's the deal with them anyway? What purpose do they serve? Granted I guess they're suppose to keep your arms and legs warm, but is it really necessary, because after 20 minutes, I'm already sweating! I'm thinking it's more of a dance fashion accessory, but I could be wrong. Anyone know the real story? Because if these are something that are needed or useful, I don't want to be the only one without them. But if it's just for show, I can think of better ways to spend the cash! >>>I agree with balletboy about warming up the knees. I use Pearl Izumi bikelegwarmers to warm up primarily my knees and lower legs. It makes jumping offthe garbage truck alot easier for me. I also have a pair of cotton/lycra legwarmers, but I use those at the gym or for wearing around the house to keep warm.>>>I found though, that even when I took adult ballet, in a heated studio, wearing legwarmers help out alot. You might be different and might not need them. Antworten zu diesem Beitrag: |
