Male dancewear

Several years ago there was a dancewear manufacturer called Dance France. They published catalogues where the guys wore thong leotards over their tights. This look became popular in California (I was living there at the time.), especially in aerobic classes. The thong leotard over tights look was around in cities like NYC, even in ballet classes, but, to tell you the truth, I haven't seen it much since. I still think its great, though, and have occasionally taken this look to my ballet classes. However, you must remember that some schools have a dress code, and while the thong leotard over tights is typically not listed on the dress code, in most classes there is no real strict dress code. And on top of it your a male danseur! Male danseurs are few and far between, and are coveted in most schools. Not that I'm saying you can get away with anything, but, hell, you're a male in ballet classes, you can get away with anything! A variation on the look is to wear a thong-backed brief or trunk over the tights or a unitard. The colors can contrast and compliment eachother, while the trunk sets off the legs and waist. To tell the truth, I always add a contrasting-colored trunk or exterior belt to my outfit when I wear a unitard, so that there is more definition of the body. I would go for it, especially if there's another guy in your ballet classes that has already taken advantage of this hot look! If anyone objects, tell them it helps you better see your movemenmts!
