Please tell him that if he likes it and...this is he's dream to dance.Well...forget about what others says about that and go for it at 200%.He knows who he is....i got one exemple about male ballet dancer... Rudolf Nureyev..one of the most powerful and graceful male dancer of alltime.When he was young he's father wanted him to become an officer of theURSS army and one day Rudolf came home and says to he's mother . "Mom i just saw my sisters friends ballet class and i want to try....."than one day his father eared that he was takin those ballet class andwith a none common violence beating him with all kinds of things likemetal belt...well the more he's father beat him the more he gone to hisballet class and says to him...."Dad you will never stop my dream"...."You can beat me or take my foods away ill dance even if you kill me".
