[i]Wow, what a question. I believe it to be very simple, for some. My first dance belt. It was a Capezieo, I think. Then it was Danskin. I am still trying to find the best fit. I work out in a gym. I love my HIND sportights (they are the best for fitness gear). I have, almost, all the colors, including white. I have a number of dancebelts. I love them all. When wearing a dancebelt, I feel that I can do more. I have read when dancers wear them that they too feel that they can do more. I wear my dancebelt in the "up" position. That is, my penis is up and my testicles are pull up as well. I recommend this and believe it is the only way. Any other way, I think, would hurt or, worse yet, you could injure youself. Tights?Sportights, I believe, should be use for sports and for use at the gym. I, unfortunately, do not know what to wear at the ballet studio. I think that coton/lycra would be the most appropriate.Wearing the dancebelt and tight?I would find a dancebelt that feels comfortable to you. I have a waist size of 33. I wear a medium belt. For the Capezio quilted, I would get a smaller size, i.e., a small (others may disagree). I have a medium now and it has lost something through the years, and washings. It is a gear feeling wear the dancebelt. I will, perhaps, go into that later. It is all about being en pointe and doing excersise en pointe, in front of a mirror. To be able to see the feet, calfs, quads (all turned out) then your hands, arms and chest, all the while pumping everything up en pointe. This is a fantastic experience!I will tell you about my first visit to a ballet studio later (the Boston Ballet).
