Expressing oneself. That was all I was doing when I wrote. I thought I would try write about an experience in ballet class and share it with other male dancers and wondered if they have experienced this too.
I have read your postings before and I find them very animated and informative (I enjoy reading them). Other postings are exceptionally good as well, e.g., BalletMaster, Dr. Dancebelt et al. However, I felt that I may have offended you. I am sorry if I have. Maybe others can confirm if I was offensive. I just added the part about my bulge because it is true, it is so apparent and ... well, huge. Actually, it feels good to be in my dancebelt and I was wondering if other guys felt the same way in their dancebelt. I know it is not something that we should focus on during class. It is just a side-effect. Do you know what I mean? I am no homophobe. I admire all people. If you have a fantastic physique, I would tell you. If you had an awesome bulge (or nice buttocks or torso) ... well ... I would probably look you in the face then at your bulge and say under my breath "wow," so as not to be rude. From reading your postings, I imagine you to have an awesome body as well (I do not know about you bulge though).
Our instructor is legitimate. We too must wear shirts/tops in class. It is at the breaks or pauses that I remove my shirt when it is soaking wet or only on very hot days. I dance with a reputable school for a well know ballet company at their secondary level (I do not wish to name it here). I hope to arrive into their higher performance level one day. In fact, they have well-known dancers and are awesome.
Your statement "Well bully for you! (And bullshit for us????)" I did not understand. Your are right, this is so unlike you. Please explain (if you want to). I also felt that your "humble advice" was a bit violent: "cut down a few inches ... shove the discarded piece where the sun don't shine!" Now, was that really necessary? It is as tough you are playing the same game as the other people you spoke about in your reply/advice to me.
Again, I am not a homophobe nor am I a bozo ruining "our" message board. I am a real dancer who happens to enjoy all the sites and am not offend by anyone. Let the others who feel that they have something to say, whether it is really stupid or not, have their say. Try not to waste your time, and energy, with their postings. Just read them and laugh, I do. I believed my posting to be legitimate and something that serious male dancers experience from time to time, maybe not. Other dancers, please let me know.
Once more, balletboy, I do enjoy your postings and hope we can start to share our dance experiences with others who feel the same way. I love to dance and wear ballet gear. It is an very sexy feeling. I also like to run and use different gear for that, which is lycra/spandex.
Finally, I believe the dancebelt to be the best athletic supporter and all men should use one when they participate in sports and/or the performance arts.
