Most guys I know like www.nydancewear.com. I have had great success with Paterson's Back Bay Dancewear. Their website is www.backbaydancewear.com, or call their "800" number, 800-554-2340, and ask for a catalogue. I prefer to order by phone.
Ask any two dancers and you'll get a different answer about dancebelts. I believe I've tried them all, but then again I hear about another brand.
Right now I wear the Capezio "comfort" dancebelt, which has a slightly wider butt-strap than most other thong dancebelts. However, it doesn't have a wide, stiff elastic waist belt, like the Capezio quilted pouch dancebelt, and it doesn't have a padded pouch. I use my own pad, inserted into the dancebelt for a "smoother" look.
What brand, type and style is really a matter of personal preference.
How to wear the dancebelt is another matter; there's a lot written here (and the maledancewear site) about that.
Most any of us are willing to correspond. You just have to click on the highlighted "name" at the top of a message.
I'm always to talk about almost any topic. Drop me an email: theboy@balletboy.com

>I've just joined a dance school this past year and i'm 17 years old. After talking to other dancers online, all have made it more than clear that I NEED to get a dancebelt. There aren't any dance stores readily near where i live, i drive over an hour to class each way, so are there any reputable websites or catalogs i could order that I could get one from or what brand, style, or whatever i need? I basically know nothing about this subject so if someone could email me privately i'd appreciate it. Thanks all![/i]
